They had made their way to the cargo handling deck beneath the ship.
"Wow!" Avarris gasped as she stared out into the vastness of space. "So much."
"One of my favorite places on the Orpheus." Navarre whispered softly as he dropped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer. "A good place to think things through."
"I can see that." She sighed softly, her breath still coming in awed gasps. "And here we are. Our tomorrow." She smiled happily. "A dancing slave, and the son of a fleet commander. It's like a dream."
"All behind us." Navarre smiled, his eyes staring deep into the blackness that spanned before them. "And our Tomorrow just beginning."
