Description
~Vox Machina Keyleth~
I have accidentally stumbled across "The Legend of Vox Machina" (2015-17), an animated TV series from Amazon Prime Video, and ended up staying for the fun. The series originated from a group of voice actors streaming their tabletop playing online, which also explains the "Vox Machina" name, which means "machine voice" in Latin.
The streaming got popular and ended up spawning into a comics series (Vox Machina Origins) by Dark Horse Comics, and also the animated series, funded partially by a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign. It later became an official D&D setting with sourcebooks like Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount (2020) and Tal’Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn (2022).
From this universe, I have picked the redhead half-elf druid called Keyleth. As the series begin, Keyleth can't even hold her liquor, but drinks with the party anyway, just to throw up for hours afterwards. She doesn't look like much with her skinny frame and clumsy demeanor, but it's a prime example of where we shouldn't judge the book by its cover.
Canonically, Keyleth is a highly gifted druid from the Air Ashari tribe, destined to become their leader (Voice of the Tempest) after completing a traditional journey called the Aramente. However, she’s young, self-doubting, and socially awkward—traits that carry over from the tabletop game, where Marisha Ray played her as earnest but prone to fumbles (both comedic and tragic). Her power grows over time, but early on, she struggles with confidence, especially in combat and leadership.
3D pose and camera set in Poser, imported with my OpenPose plugin, rendered in Stable Diffusion, postwork in PaintShop.

Man, I'm missing all the fun with these streaming animated series I have never heard of. Thanks at least for telling me about them.
I am glad to call out hidden jewels people might have missed. Vox Machina is not for kids, though. It's filled with adult themes, gore and dark humor. It keeps a healthy balance between drama, action and comedy - to include a flirty gnome bard who will sleep with anything that moves. If that offends you, look elsewhere. 😋
Despite all you have explained she still looks kind of cute to me. (She's the long-legged type) LOL Good work!
Thank you! She IS cute in the first season, being shy and socially awkward. I was told that improves on season 2, but I didn't get there yet. ^^
Fantastic work. Which is better, Photoshop by Adobe or Paintshop by Coral?
Thank you! Photoshop is better, but it's tied to a paid subscription where some of the functionality is online only and has a steeper learning curve. Corel PaintShop has all the basic functionality for a fraction of the cost, no strings attached. However, PaintShop hasn't been updated for a long time, and I am transitioning to Affinity Photo instead. :)
I really enjoy your technique!
Thank you! It's like composing the scene in 3D (Poser) and then fleshing it out and rendering it in SDXL. Super versatile with endless possibilities. ^^

So the way to approach the issue is to be there, holding her long hair up behind her as she barfs, A truly gentlemanly gesture. Hopefully that will allow me a couple of pages in that unjudgable book, maybe even a chapter.
It doesn't hurt to be a gentleman. 🙂 They say Keyleth will become super powerful in season 2, which is next in my queue. ^___^
