Monday yet again and the usual rush to start the day. Uploads, shop then enjoy a beer as I wander through your galleries and catch up :)
This is the re-rendered straight out of Daz version of render #3 from my recent post named 'Unexpected' It was to dark for many of you but it was also a trial and error for me trying to create a surprise ending. I have a flat finish on my monitor so I do not get any glare and as a result, I can see the vamp easily whereas that didn't work on your monitors so end of the day was a good experience for me to discover my limits when it come to darker renders and thank you for your feedback on this as well...much appreciated and hopefully not to bright now...lol
I upped the ghost light between the candle, match and her face, increased the brightness of the environment map and moved the vamp closer to her shoulder and still just a straight Daz render, no post work.

You know, your girls keep getting into so much trouble they really need a bodyguard. One of my droids, like Raven or Ferlaui could easily protect them without even breaking a drop of sweat:-)
BTW, regarding monitors, the 1st thing I always do is adjust mine using a simple calibration chart which makes a huge difference. Of course if a monitor is really lousy, like my old laptop was, then nothing really helps.
I always buy the matt finish for my monitor screens, especially for art work as I hate the reflections and foreign light sources bouncing off the screen when I am creating, I find it really distracting and stuffs up my flow hugely as a result.
You gave me an idea that your right and my girls do need a protector so I have spent all my $$$$ to employ one for a test outing and will see if it will do the job or do I need to upgrade my budget to employ on of your lady droids for the job??? (Although if I did that, I doubt she would ever get out into the field...lol)
Playing with something for you in Daz now and hopefully it will put your mind at rest in the near future :)

Désolé mais mes écrans calibrés encore récemment avec SpyderPro ne me permettent pas de voir ce que tu veux nous faire voir et sur lequel tu as beaucoup travaillé...c'est peut-être aussi parce qu'il y a une fenêtre à gauche de mon bureau qui vient troubler tout cela.
C'est bien Gaius, au moins tu as essayé, et c'est tout ce qu'on peut demander.
J'ai utilisé un écran mat pour éviter les reflets et les reflets de la lumière extérieure. Mes vieux yeux ont besoin d'aide… lol

Never wear me out....always seeking new ideas to render if I have the skills that is and thank you for the offer and I was hoping that some of those self defense skills may include a Swedish Massage...lol

Okay now I can see the mystery figure much better, very nice rework :) Lighting is very tricky especially in the dark!
Yes but its a play until you go to far then try to bring it back and that everyone has different styles of monitors as well, which I never thought of when i did this...live and learn for me my friend :)

This render looks fantastic! I viewed your previous render first and did not know that you had also posted this updated one. Just go ahead and ignore any recommendations I gave you in the previous one as this one looks amazing. :-)

those tweaks have proven very effective, and fascination (and educational) to see how you have achieved the effect
