Description
Hi all and dragging the chain a bit today, life and legal stuff...who can refuse...lol
So........this is a project I started back in Feb....the building is a freebie Blender model from open3dlab. It is big. behind the cam is upstairs with 2 complete offices, upstairs Cafe, seating area, hallways and more.....really big and unfortunately when exported to Daz no textures stuck so I had to manually add the textures and put in my own for the ones I could not find. I had to delete all the things you don't see and there were several hundred of them....seriously :)
I then had to create the lighting and then get the scene populated.....I rushed the last few days but its as close to what I visualized as possible with the minimal amount of post work needed to get this all together. Some 17 layers merged to create this and got lazy in the end with changing character outfits, poses, etc, just wanted it done at the end of the day so I can go back to creating some new stuff I will be uploading in the next few days....
Anyway I hope you like, enjoy and never try this type of setup in the future...lol
Will be here tomorrow for sure, got some catching up to do and someone recently mentioned I need to give Aliens Max's pizza to keep the peace so thinking about that for a new project tomorrow :)
Thanks for dropping by and I appreciate your time visiting my humble gallery, peace :)

This is wonderful work!
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
Wow this is a big place and way cool what you did with it. Yeah I have to pick the textures back together i Poser for every asset I import from DAZ. So I know how time consuming it is, but I think it's worth it in the long run.
Yeah I don't like it but I so wanted to render with this prop so what can you do...lol
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
. . . and love! Perseverance is a virtue!
Wow...I have a virtue....I always wanted one....lol
Thank you and yes it took a long time but was so worth it at the end of the day :)
Impressive view
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
Wonderful!
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
That's a lot of layers very nice render
One day I may have a machine big enough to handle all those polygons on a scene like this so I can render it all at once but until then, I will layer away...lol
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
excellent
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
OMG the details in this scene, just wow. Impressive work!
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
most creative and highly detailed image my friend. wow ! lots of hard work in this.
I really wanted to use this, so sometimes you just gotta role up those sleeves and get to it but worth it when I see the finished render and thank you for taking a peek :)
Incroyable création et tant de choses à voir. Cela doit prendre un temps fou à réaliser.
Cela a pris beaucoup de temps dans l'ensemble, mais cela en valait vraiment la peine, je pense, et merci d'avoir jeté un œil
Load of cool elements to explore !
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
LoL ... wish you the best of luck with those aliens!
And this definitely is a grandiose scene for sure ... lotsa stuff to take in, but something important is missing -- no muffins in that cafeteria!
Your story also reminds me of all the models I once had to re-texture or even re-polygon to make it acceptable -- lot's of work.
Rendering a version of those pesky Aliens right now...lol
We keep the muffins under the counter....worth their weight in gold they are so if you want one, just ask for one when you order :)
Thanks for dropping by and will be doing the other areas of this building as time permits :)
Oh this is spectacular!!
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
Great composition and use of background. Everything done excellently!👍🙋♂️
Thanks and appreciate you dropping by :)
Oh ! mais on peut s'adresser à toi en français pour te dire tout le bien que l'on pense de cette image incroyable de complexité.

Merci de votre visite. Oui, ce rendu a pris beaucoup de temps :)
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I am struck dumb by the dedication, creativity and effort on display in this render. Bravo!
For me I get an idea and I must see it through. I may not always do a good job but I persevere and don't always post the results and a great way to learn how to twist the programs to reflect your concept.
Thank you for your kind words and for dropping by :)
Wow! That's incredible!
Thank you very much and glad you liked :)
Nice scene
Thank you :)
Very impressive. It's very hard to control all those elements in this scene. I've imported things from Blender and it is such a pain that the textures aren't applied. You spend hours trying to figure out which textures and associated files go where on the model. Also, huge models are hard to control and move. Great dedication on your part. - Bob
Yes the import from Blender to Daz leaves a lot to be desired for sure...lol This is the first really big Blender model I have played with and slowed my enthusiasm a little but I will go through this process again as I wish now to complete the other rooms and populate them.
You are so right about spending hours looking for textures so now I just apply my own once the frustration hits...lol
As for huge models be hard to control....yup, nail on the head there....every item in the scene is singular, not associated with anything else, the scene list is huge and you get a cramp scrolling to the bottom of the list to find your characters and if you try to group them....well for me, lets just say don't :)
Thanks for dropping by, really appreciated :)
A mesmerising true-to-life sci-fi scene, with an awful lot of details and excellent sense of realism in this genre. I am in awe !
I am glad my investment in time paid off finally and thank you for dropping by :)
I hear ya about dragging the chain......
Holy frack! I feel your pain with those massive environments. I've tackled a few of those for my TNA story, but nothing the size of what you've done. I remember some pretty big environments back in my Vue days (really need to get back into Vue..).
But what you've accomplished here..... WOW! All the detail and figures on the cafe floor, figures standing at the cafeteria, the lighting, it's cinematic and mind-blowing. Awesome work, my friend!
It was a good things I wasn't drinking beers for the time it took me to put all this together...I'd be even poorer than I am now and in serious need of a new Liver....lmao
I had a lot of fun with Vue and maybe one day will go back to if...if I can ever find any of my assets that is :)
Thanks for dropping by :)
For the large model. If you know what parts you are going to use. Delete the parts you are not going to use in Blender, before importing into Daz. Just a suggestion. - Bob
Now that you have suggested it I am going of course....why didn't I think of that...lol...so a big thank you Bob for pointing out what seemingly escaped me and am better armed for the next part of Floor 63 now as my desire to complete all the rooms is rejuvenated...Thank you :)
You did an awesome job with this scene and the work it took you to accomplish was well worth it!
Managing big scenes is a pain for me to do, since my PC workflow slows down and the memory requirement rises high. . Every now and then I do them...Jungles with lots of trees and large textured City environments with lots of objects are my least favorite to do.
HDRI environments are quite possibly the fastest to do since there are no models and it's just a 360 degree image with a few textured model figures strategically placed.. :-)
I hear you with the memory issues, I still get them and I guess in this medium its always gunna be an issue :) I have 16GB GPU and 32GB ram on board, but the GPU runs with 32GB as it uses half the system mem in Daz.
I spent a long time deleting things individually from this scene but as Bob states above I will be fixing that problem real quick in Blender next time...lol (Wish I had thought of doing that before.)
Thanks for the visit :)
Beautiful composition and render. All your hard work has paid off royally for this piece. As with writing, good editing can make or break a piece in any medium.
Thank you for the visit and your words are so true and I get really picky about getting everything just right for everything I do, well within the scope of my skills at least :)
Thank you :)
Very impressive scene, I can imagine all the time it took to set this scene up. You really captured the lighting, POV and decor perfectly. Truely a masterpiece.
Thank you so much for the kind words. This become more a labor of love..I really wanted to finish it right, not rushed :)
Beautiful scene, excellent render.
Thank you so much :)
