Description
My first render in ages. I used -renapd-'s venerable RT-M4 Officers and Gentlemen and its Exanpsion pack. A wonderfully extensive offering of Napoleonic uniforms and useful, thoughtfully crafted poses. The environment is stonemason's exemplary The Ruins of Emerald Hill and the soldier is vyktohria's Nalfaar for M4, a gem.

At least it's not so cold as the Russian retreat
That was defeat, wasn't it? Thanks for commenting.
Nicely posed!
-renapd- thought of every thing! Thanks for commenting.
Great expression and scene, he looks so tired and lost in himself :)
It's an excellent and expressive pose, -renapd- earned his dollars with this one.
Great work
Thank you so much, anitalee.
Love the mood in this render — that ‘one step closer to greatness’ vibe is strong. 🌟 Sometimes the best art comes after a hiccup or two. Keep pushing, setbacks are just setup for comebacks
