Description
By mid-21st century gravitic repulsion was already showing up in commercial and military use, but faster-than-light hyper-spatial travel, developed by an enigmatic tech mogul named Dave, was still limited to payloads under 2 milligrams. It wasn't until 20 years later that a breakthrough increased that capacity by many orders of magnitude.
Initial tests of FTL travel involved robotic probes, refined through rigorous leaps to Neptune and back, carrying plant and animal passengers to verify safety. With reliability assured, the stage was set for a historic human trial.
The destination selected was Europa, Jupiter’s ice-clad moon, whispered to harbor alien life beneath its frozen crust.
A spacious three-person landing craft, designed for comfort, was built to be ferried by a massive FTL engine which would remain in orbit.

The only habitable area is the lander it carries, which is quite comfortable; the rest is all FTL engine and power source in its primitive 1st generation stage.
