Description
In the unregulated fringes of the Neuropolis, Ricky’s Speed Shop stood inexplicably, a relic clinging to its gritty charm in a world rushing headlong into the synthetic. Oxana Battalova, Ana to most, Ana Banana to her dad, spent her childhood in this grease-stained sanctuary, helping her father Enrique tune engines, tighten bolts, and ring up the credits before heading off to college.
Bikers of all ages arrived looking for speed but stayed for Ana. They often asked Enrique for permission to take his teenage daughter for a test spin on their freshly modified bikes, and on rare occasions, he would give the nod to those who reminded him the most of himself. Ana, ever enthusiastic about their work, would hop on the backseat, gripping the sides with confidence and flashing an approving grin.
The shop thrived on its gritty charm, a mix of roaring engines, grease-stained tools, and Ana’s unmistakable presence. She wasn’t just the heartbeat of Ricky’s Speed Shop; she was the grounding force in her father’s world, a world losing touch with its soul and its daylight.
