it's crazy how dead the gallery is here, even the top long timers with huge lists of followers they've cultivated over 10+ years are getting like 50 views in a week.
Truthfully I believe AI is flooding the zone, pound for pound AI algorithms produces a well composed image (even if the details are often a mess) and they are painfully simple to create. 3D artists compose our characters and images, and models in a space, AI artists type in prompts and roll the dice. Young folks these days are deeply indoctrinated into the" instant gratification" mindset. I'm sad to say in another decade 3D will most likely become a lost and forgotten skill.
You think it's bad now - you ain't seen nothing yet! This world is about to change more in a decade than in past 2000 years. Assuming we don't all starve to death in a global war, most will simply choose to live in VR worlds or even be digitized themselves. Whether your life will be better or worse I have no idea. Personally I might simply go off the grid, live off the land and paint with oils and brushes --- or not --- who knows, lol. But I'm not stressing over it as life's too short.
