They walked tiredly through the corridor after another long day of work. "They have you working the tables again?" He glanced over with disgust at the thought. She gave her husband a disgusted look and slowly nodded her head. "At least I am off the weekend shift." She sighed softly. "Those factory guys are the worst lot." She stared at the pressure suit he was still wearing. "Outside maintenance again?" "For the next month." He gave a soft chuckle. "But it does pay more." "Because of how dangerous it is." She shot back fearfully. "We have got to get away from this place." Her voice conveyed her fear. "I know." He sighed softly. "Between paying charges and expenses, it's hard to build any funds to pay for transportation." "I've been thinking on that." The Older man glanced over at his son and daughter-in-law. "I think I know of a way. It's a long shot. But I know someone who just might be in a position to help us out." "That would be great." She exclaimed with hope in her voice. "I'm going to reach out to him tonight." He drew a soft breath. "I discovered his name on an old shipping log while logging in a cargo shipment. I know where he is now. With any luck, I can locate him and get a message out, but it may take time." "We're not exactly going anywhere." His son shot back wearily. "It's a chance." The older man responded. "A bit to hope is all we have left."
