Description
Captain's log stardate 2175-03:
"It's been 3 months since we left Federation space and most Earth settlements have turned Vellari. The Vampire clans that remained have not been attacked - apparently Vellari see no advantage in a fight which may bring more loss than gain.
I also learned why Dorothy never launched that third option against Vellari regardless of Federation decision -- she said it would have broken her promise of giving them the option to decide. Did I agree with her? Not at first ... but now I'm just not sure anymore, after all, they were quite explicitly warned.
Meanwhile, this planet we found is nice ... lots of plants, fresh air, good water, good soil to grow stuff, and moons with ample supply of useful elements and minerals. We are settling in nicely.
And this reminds me, we need to give this planet a proper name."
Suddenly Dorothy came up from behind, "Talking to yourself?"
Flynt made a face, "Recording my log ... hey, we need to name this planet, any ideas?"
"That's easy, let's call it planet Flynt."
Polaris overheard and came over, "Planet Flynt sounds good to me."
"It sounds ridiculous," said Flynt, "how about planet Dorothy ... no wait, I got it!... planet Dolaris."
"You're right, planet Flynt is ridiculous. Planet Dolaris is perfect!"
"I totally agree," said Polaris while Flynt rolled his eyes.
Dorothy left and Flynt turned to Polaris, "Come, sit down. I've been meaning to ask you something."
"What is it."
"You and Dorothy seem to be quite close. Tell me, If she's neither android nor human, then what exactly is she? And where is she from?"
"She is neither, and both."
"Huh? A cyborg?"
"Are you sure you want to know?"
"Yes, I really would."
"To call her a cyborg would be like calling your Kronos a wooden biplane. She is the best of android and organic merged into something new... an evolution of technology as opposed to evolution of nature ... a new version of life itself. And no one knows where she came from."
A droid came over and interrupted, "Captain Flynt, pizza will be ready in 30 minutes; would you care for a chocolate muffin while you wait?"

PS: And this final chapter brings book one of the Flynt saga to an end.

Wow Max, I just read your very detailed description above and all I have to say is that it does not matter to me what Dorothy is...an Android or human is of no importance to me my friend. She is a beautiful, end of story!
As to what to name this awesome planet...Dolaris sounds just fine to me unless Capt Flynt has something to say otherwise. I would really like to sit in one of those chairs to take in and admire the view that you so well have done here Max. :-)

Ah choco is available here too! The best of the best on Dolaris planet ;) It's a nice valley to settle into.

does everybody have to eat muffins? what if I don't like muffins? what if muffins give you muffin tops? who came up with the damn muffins anyway? .... but I digress, great image :)

Annoyed because so many like muffins? Sad there might be no treats to your liking? Upset you might be left out? Fear not! ... Our kitchen just happens to have something for everyone, including tortilla chips for a special VIP guest that taste even better than Doritos and much healthier too!

And BTW, the history of these muffins originated in south Florida, Earth about a decade ago. I stumbled upon this self-serve restaurant (can't recall the name) with very good hi-quality food, and their chocolate muffins were out of this world delicious -- best I ever had! -- plus they didn't make me sick because they had good ingredients. I was super-impressed by them.
