This whole YES/NO circus and all these daily mood swings from Uncle Donald are getting on my nerves so much, that I won't be seen here again for a while, it just makes me sick like hell!!!!!

That's the wrong attitude! Stay and fight! Resist! Protest! Make your displeasure and disapproval known. Many in the U.K. have petitioned Prime Minister Starmer to withdraw the invitation to a state visit extended to Trump. That outcome seems unlikely, but I suspect the Britons who find Trump objectionable will stage demonstrations when he arrives. I would happily join them.

Don't fall victim to propaganda. Sociopaths, who still control the news, have launched a vicious all-out psychological warfare campaign to stay in power and cover-up their massive 25-year looting of treasury, war crimes and crimes against humanity. I'm surprised that our society hasn't totally collapsed yet.

It's always sad when someone you admire leaves this place and all we can hope for is that they will return someday! I am guilty of not visiting this place as often as I would like for a myriad of reasons but none that matter at this very moment. Your art and constant inspiration to everyone on this site will be missed Ute!

I saw this when you posted it. As you know, things here have gotten worse. But I hope Europe and other nations know that there is a large group of people who are working very hard to bring back democratic principles, and they're doing it peacefully and with real dedication. And our Courts have done a great job defending the Constitution and law. There is hope and dedication here, still.
Your image is moody and mysterious...I love the fog and mist. And the gray silhouettes of the buildings in the distance. And the single woman standing alone. Although, there's a man coming towards her from the other direction. Maybe he represents hope. (I hope.) A haunting, beautiful image.
