A few months before the end of WW II, the city of Dresden was hit by a wave of bombings. Many people saw this as unjustified. Well, it was neither the English, the French, the Russians nor the Americans who invaded countries where they had no business being, who killed people indiscriminately just because they did not conform to the sick ideas of Nazi racial fanatics, who were physically or mentally handicapped or simply represented different political ideas! It was WE, it was the Germans, who were responsible for this, it was WE who kept pushing this war forward, even though everyone knew that it could no longer be won. It was WE who sent children and old people to war because we had already lost so many men that we had to resort to "the last resort"... All of this ultimately led to the events in Dresden. So if right-wing radicals today want to brand this bombing as an atrocities of the Allies - what were all the crimes that were committed against other peoples in the name of Germany during this war? With regard to the election next Sunday, I would also like to say: Do not listen to those who want you to forget the Nazi crimes, but portray events like those in Dresden as "war crimes" that have no connection whatsoever with previous German war atrocities, do not listen to those who want to bring back those times and: DO NOT ELECT THEM - once was enough, for ever!
