Since the 1950s, no, actually since the atomic bombings of two Japanese cities in 1945, EVERYONE has known about the devastating effects of this particular type of bomb!
Unaffected by this, nations continue to "test" this most terrible of all weapons to this day. Bikini Atoll, the scene of numerous such tests (there were 67 in total!) is now uninhabitable due to the radiation levels and will most likely remain so for many decades to come.
Such tests also took place in the Nevada desert. The actor John Wayne, who also made films there and died of cancer, most likely caught it there!
This madness should be stopped...immediately...permanently.
