Description
Large and powerful, the woman was nevertheless graceful as she moved through her kata.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.3.895 (what I am beginning to think is the last version of Poser😥) using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. The figure is based on V4 with modifications by -=Wartech=- and is posed in the Cyber Dojo by Coflek-Gnorg. As usual, I found ken1171_design's scripts indispensable.
Juri Han is a character owned by Capcom. This is fan art and teh Mollz will make no money from it but shares it freely. Think of it as a gift to Capcom reminding people of their game, Streetfighter. If you like fighting games, buy it today. 🤗

I'd like to be able to use DAZ as well. If I could ever get it working again on the machine I bought specifically to run DAZ.

Thanks, Rod. I like the Streetfighter characters although I'm not a gamer and have only ever seen my grandchildren playing the games. Really violent... (the games, not my grandchildren) =P
P13 definitely renders faster and has less trouble with Firefly materials than P12 although I usually modify them somewhat anyway. Last I saw anything new from the Poser team was November of last year and their marketing seems pretty lethargic at present, so I am worried. At this point, I can't be bothered with DAZ Studio. I mean, I'm just really getting the hang of Poser! XD
If you do get DAZ Studio running let me know how you feel about it. =)

A caveat: when I say P13 renders faster, I am referring to Superfly. If you are using Firefly the rendering times are the same as far as I can see! ;-)

Thank you, Amanda. I studied a martial art fighting system years ago and really enjoyed kata; it felt a bit like dancing and was great for general fitness and flexibility. I hated kumite (sparring) though; I was too slow to be very dangerous and generally became a punching bag for other students. =P I suspect Juri Han is VERY good at kumite, though! XD

@MollyFootman Oh dear! That sounds bad (becoming a punching bag). I have never tried any fighting styles, but I agree with you, there does seem to be a certain elegance to some of them.

Certainly there is an elegance to Kata that is lost in Kumite which is spontaneous and usually VERY aggressive. Fun to watch, I guess, but not as much fun to do. XD As a pacifist at heart, I have never quite understood why I find the martial arts fascinating. =\
