Just over 60 years ago I went down to see my Grand forks While there my Cousin from 4 doors up run in sayin' that his Mother had just dropped to the floor My Father run up and found his sister with white liq coming from her lips with in ten minutes she was no more it seems that a wasp had hid in her slipper and had not like her toes Me I don't like Wasps or Bees she was only in her 30s
I'm really sorry about that. I certainly didn't want to reopen old wounds!
Personally, I hate wasps and hornets and I get really panicked when they buzz around my face and the frequency of the buzzing makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. But I'm not afraid of bees at all. I can even let them sit on my arm without feeling the need to chase them away.
One summer, when I was 10, I was sitting on the steps leading to my grandparents' apartment. I was eating an ice cream, wearing shorts and sandals, when a wasp buzzed around my right leg; I stupidly kicked it and it stung me in the instep of my right foot. Since then, I've avoided the black and yellow creatures whenever possible.
