In the days of your great great grand dad these were the top of the range cars You take that special car Model T Ford in any colour as long as it's black you can still see them out and about they were made to last now days cars are made shall we say not to grow old with grace when the last time your car came with a hand handle to start the engine. wee flip out to say ur turning when you did not need an break down service to get you home when the spare wheel was the same size as your main wheels and did not need different wheel nuts to put on. when you had to keep to under 50 MPH because the wheel was not for the speed. Or in my case. the spare wheel was what we call a mickey mouse wheel only they give the wrong wheel nuts with it left in the midle of no where I can tell you that firm was called some names I don't know what colour their face went but mine all the colours of the rainbow
Something I just thought off In the good old days you could tell the make of cars by the shape of their head light now days most take on one of three shapes they now days make cars with light metal I remember when cars were tanks on four wheels

We bought a 2014 Dodge Caravan minivan - in 2014 - the first NEW vehicle we ever purchased. Paid cash for it thanks to Jo's inheritance. We still have it. in 10 years, it has never failed to start on the first twist of the key. It was driven heavily when I was doing field service work, and it's been to the west coast and back. Best vehicle we've ever owned.
My Father back in 1983 bought a VW Dover camper It could sleep four I was taken back with the amount of room those things had Like the ford cars of old you could have it in any colour as long as it was " black! no, it was not made in that colour it was kind off brown I am sure there was some fancy name for it I have never been for a drive in the model T Ford but those cars had real steel for it's body a mini tank with out a gun
