Description
The Royal Montreal Golf Club is a golf course located on Île Bizard, in Montreal, Canada. Opened in 1873, it is the oldest golf club in North America. The golf course underwent several moves and expansions during the 19th and 20th centuries, the most notable change being in 1959, when the club moved from Dixie to Île-Bizard, where 45 holes were built by Dick Wilson, a renowned golf course architect.

Interesting history! I live a short walk away from the location of the old Clubhouse, which was in the west end of Lachine, Quebec - also known as Dixie.
