Hello, all! Just dropping by with this portrait of Jodie, one of our new agents in the Seattle Office. And (spoiler alert) she survives the little incident with the drone, as does Hunter (formerly Mrs. Smith).
And now a little update.
As I started some preliminary work on page 49, once again, I started having problems with the 2 external USB drives all my poser stuff lives on. I’ve had a lot of issues lately with the drives just disconnecting – usually when I’m in the middle of something – like TNA.
I don’t know if the issue is with the drives (don’t think so), the computer (also don’t think so), the USB cables, the multi-port USB hub, or a combination of things. But it’s time to make some changes in that jungle of cables behind the desk. Again. So the desk has been moved out from the wall again.
To make a long story short, I’ll be on and off for a few days doing a few more modifications. Always something.
And no…. It’s not going to be another long stretch before you see P-49. Stay tuned!

Thanks, Steve! I actually have multiple backups of all the TNA files, so we're good to go there. It's just annoying when those two drives (just bought those not long ago - 10 TB each) keep disconnecting unexpectedly. And the cables going to everything are just a freaking jungle - I want to get them organized a LOT better.
Going to be a nice addition.
I hope you fix all these issues, and no new ones pop up! I can wait for the next page.
I don't envy you the cable jungle.... you might need some alcohol before you start LOL

I feel your pain. I too have a "rationalisation" excercise todo, thatwill also involve rebuilding my runtime, so I keep putting it off....
Do you have cloud storage by chance? Or is it too much of a hassle?
Great looking portrait Rod! While the problems you are having are a hassle, its nice to know you have backups just in case all else fails. I think it's a personal requirement for most who work on their personal computers, to also be their own IT problem solvers, at least that's how I feel every time I have issues with my PC. Good luck in coming up with a solution. :-)

My bet is on the weakest link causing the problems with your drives. I would replace the cables. Sometimes just switching one cable from one drive to the other might fix the problem. I sometimes have disconnecting issues with my external drive, and it is the cable.

Very nice portrait work! Love the bold background adds flair to the image. Hope you sort out the computer stuff, always annoying mishaps like that getting in the way with creativity...
