i was so moved by this, and all you've done and been through, and the radiant and so-caring bond between you and your mom. She glows through your words. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I know acceptance is a journey and takes time. But the glow that's coming from you is so moving. I wish you all the comfort in the world, Barb, and for your family too. 96 is an amazing age---and I know you helped her immeasurably to reach that age, and she was so strong and loving throughout. I too found it a blessing to be with my sweet daddy-o and care for him . Wonderful that you were able to do thatt for 8 years. That really states how strong you are as well.
