Description

Hi, long time no post :) Been busy with college and life and stuff. Anyway I got this for Christmas and got bored and decided to model it. Although you can't really see it, i used a floating point TIFF to act as HDRI. I learnt how to do this from one of the Q&A's in 3d World. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Nice model - very convincing. The global illumination image samples could do with a bit of tweaking...looking a bit patchy in places...although, very good render

Good Modeling & Texturing! HDR techniques are still relatively new. They require lots of experimenting. I prefer using "Global Lights" & a Sphere with an environment map instead. Question: The Orange LCD Screen, is it a seperate Object under the glass? If you look at the "real" one, you'll notice a small shadow on the corners... Marco
