I've been doing art for a long time. I use to do my work using an airbrush and standard paint brushes, but now use only the computer. I have a MFA degree in painting, but make my living doing graphic design. The work that I do using the computer, looks almost the same as the work I use to do using an airbrush. I've now use AI images to start with and fix and modify them. Except for the ability to create an image a whole lot faster, all that has changed is the clean-up. "click".

Oh my. This is just ... plagarisable. (And, no, it's not a word.)
:)
This is just inspiring. It should make any artist want to be better.
So, I'd better get started!

Wonderful, save the prompt, rework it with a little festive input and bang you will have a xmas #1. But you already knew that, oh ok... lol.

Good idea. Thanks. - Bob

Must admit I was in a bit of a rush yesterday so I failed to mention how good I thought your render really was, and the supreme prompting you must have used. And I forgot to put it in my Favs...fixed now. :-)

I did a little more work on it. I put a cat on the back of the chair and a mouse peering out from behind the books on the right instead of the blob that is there. - Bob

A magical scene. Well done.

Can't wait to see the new version, are you going to re-upload through edit or do a second version? Only asking so I can keep an eye on it...
bob4artist
I'll do it through edit. I'll post a totally different one too in this style. I'm getting ready for a show, so short on time, so I will not do my usual work on it. Bob

Nicely re-worked...in fact Perfect. I look forward to the next in this style. :-)

I've sent this to a Sci-fi art show. "ComiCon San Diego". I print out my images and then enhance them with colored pencils. It really makes them look better. - Bob

I'm intrigued, do you print them to A4 in colour and then enhance them, or in line art then use the colour pencils? Either way let me know how you get on, this is yet another art concept that's new to me...I hope you get the credit you so well deserve!

I have an Epson P700 photo printer. I print on Epson high quality cotton fiber paper (hot press, which is smooth) or cold press (which has a little bit of texture to the paper). The cold press is good for printing watercolor looking images. I print a lot of the images at 6x6 inches on 8.5x11 inches paper (I'm in the US). Some of the images I print 12x14 inches. The printer takes paper 13 inches wide and the Epson paper is 13x19 inches. The paper is somewhat expensive. They also make a printer that takes 17-inch-wide paper, so you could make 16x20 inch images. I don't need to go that big. That paper is expensive.

After reading about you printing out your images and then enhancing them, I thought, brilliant! 'Art by any Means Necessary' so I translated it into Latin... you could go with 'Artificium Usquam' or I think 'Ars QuoquoModo' is better. Just thought you'd like to know. :-)
