Description
Next Aiko is my favourite character Nym.
1st image: original + V4 Bunhair Original
2nd image: modified skin + modified eyes + Ghostships Hair Shader + rendered in subdivision 1
Skin is like the other texture-plays copied from LaFemme. The eyes were Ghostships free V4 eyes. I converted the textures to generation 3, copied the materials from V4 eyes to A3 and changed the textures :) I am ok with the outcome :) Surly the original eyes were more lifelike but they have inbaked reflections like most of the older content.
The specular texture you see in the material setting is from converted from V4 to A3. Because of my lack of knowladge I am not sure what it is for but it was on the LaFemme material too and because I had no speculars für Generation 3, I made it :D I use this on all of my Generation 3 materials now. Maybe I convert some more, but I am ok with this one for all XD
By the way I tested "MAT Edit for Poser 12 & 13" Ken1171_Designs. Because of Cycles I was not able to copy everything trough his script, but it was very useful to switch between the material from one to another figure, it is a real time saver and it helped me to be better organized trough the whole process of copy and paste, tries and errors :D
Ghostship, if you read this: Thank you so much for these eyes. I really like them :D (I added some color in the iris material to get them darker)

I see you are using a pupil mask for the eyes. For Aiko 3, that is unnecessary, she has a separate pupil material zone in her eye shader. Use the Cycles root node alone for her pupils. It will give you a non-reflective black color. The cornea will provide the reflective surface, you don't want to double up the effect in that area of the eye.
Also, if you are using SSS in your skin shader, you are using it incorrectly. Depending on the Scatter Radius value, your Scatter scale value may be too high. Uncheck your Legacy Scatter box.
I tried some settings, you were totally right :D I misunderstood the Forum-Thread. Now I know where I need to adjust to avoid theese blue ears :D Thank you very much ^^ The eyes are a complete copy from Ghostships free V4 Eyes for Poser 12. V4 also has a Pupil so what is the mask for? I have no Idea.
Whoever created the original shader thought that it was necessary, but we are discussing hacks that were introduced in Firefly. It is better to delete the mask, I don't think it contributes to the rendered image.
ah ok, I see what you mean. Thank you 😊
