From the looks of all the chaos around him and absence of any living color it feels like he is making his statement with the understanding that no one can hear if but himself. To me it conveys a very palpable sense of overwhelming despair. It's well done ... but makes me feel a little uncomfortable.
Success! That's exactly what I was trying to portray...the pure desperation of it all. It's not original though...it was done fantastically in the 'Gravity' movie. It was more of an experiment for me...and one day I might just actually come up with something original, just don't hold your breath. ;-) As always it means a lot to me to get your input.
