Description
The female had watched at the injured insect scrambled over the hill, She turned slowly on trembling legs and returned to her mate. He had already dropped weakly to the ground. Settling before him, tears welling up in her eyes. They raised their heads slowly, pressing together cheek to cheek.
She whimpered softly as his neck slowly lower to the ground, a gurgling rasp of air escape him one last time, and he lay motionless and silent.
