Description
In many places in Africa, albinos are considered cursed and are rejected by their parents. Hair, bones or entire body parts of light-skinned people are said to bring wealth, happiness or health, which is why those affected are repeatedly abducted, mutilated and killed - even children. Some faith healers claim that sex with albinos cures HIV, which is why women are raped.
This is my attempt to bring some positive attention to these special people and draw attention to their often fatal situation.
