Description
For the first time since they had arrived, she stepped outside the ship. The sweltering heat nearly took her breath. She dropped onto the ramp and stared out across the sand and rock. A heavy despair seemed to smother her more than the hot dry air.
She thought over all that he had told her. They would be coming.
