Nice portrait. The only problem I have with it is that there isn't enough light to separate the model from the background, especially with one light present in the scene. You could add a back glow with a second light but you'll need to balance their intensities. Not easy if you want to hide any texture imperfections.
As it happens, I'm about to post a 2nd version -- much along those lines!
