Description
I cheated a bit on this. We were walking along a pond shore where endless pintails were sitting. As we got close they would fly out to the pond in ones and pairs. So I got my wife to walk ahead while I readied for some shots :) Still a bit hard to follow these flights with a heavy lens. Taken at ~250mm and cropped in.

Ha! Well you noticed their behaviour and took advantage of that, I don't see anything wrong with doing that :D Beautiful capture, worth the tricky shots!
