I am a self-taught artist and vendor who enjoys movies, games, and of course art! When I was 8 years old, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within introduced me to realistic 3D characters. From that moment I knew I wanted to work with 3D figures. I've always had a sketchbook as a child and continued to draw, but in my teen years, that's when I decided to go digital. I opened a Renderosity account 16 years ago and the rest is history.π
Over the years, I have learned a great deal from many talented artists and look forward to learning more.

forgot to tell you just how much i appreciate how you added details in to make her look like she is getting wet, as a lot of the time folks tend to overlook, or forget, or something. the actual effects of the rain... i love little things like this and it truly enhances the visual aspect, making it richer...
Thank you so much! I used a lot of geoshells for this one.π
superB Character
Thanks!
..great portrait and excellent lightning and effects
Thank you!
A lot of attention to the details here. It's impressive, and it really pays off in the image. Thank you for all your hard work!
Thank you so much!!
I'm curious about how you lit this, Kadaj. Is it something that's explained easily? If not, then I totally understand, and withdraw my question. Not trying to make work for you, I'm just impressed with what you did. "Rain at night" that looks authentic is not easy, even for cinematographers, much less digital renderers, so I keep wondering at how your lighting works so well here! Best to you! :-)
No worries! The lighting is simple, but I nitpick a lot so there was a lot of back and forth to get the look I wanted. I started off with Skies of iRadiance - Night Sky HDRIs for Iray as the base light then used an overhead front light and a red rear point light from PaperTiger's Exposure HDR Lighting(oops, I forgot to add them to the items used list!π ). Then it was off to Affinity Photo for postwork, mostly tweaking it in Nik Tools until I was satisfied with the tone of the image.π
Thank you for taking the time to reply! My curiousity pushed me to ask, and I absolutely appreciate you taking the time to reply!
And once again, I must also mention how versatile your image work demonstrates your figures to be. I absolutely did not recognize your Jeynsen in the image until I saw the figure cited in the image credits. It speaks to the quality and care in your figure creation that their looks can be so consistently versatile. Be well!
You're most welcome!
Fabulous image!
