Better not to see the bird for the trees, than vice versa. Hopefully the weather forecast does not realize. Mostly it less worse than we fear. Please give us an update, when situation has cleared!? :)

Wow I wouldn't have seen that bird either! Very hard to tell what bird that is, they are blending well with the trunk. Very nice shot (and I hope no aggressive storms for you!)
Fascinating shot here, Richard! One has to look very carefully to see it - which is what it intends. It looks like a hawk, probably using its "stealth" skills to grab some lunch as it runs by.
