Nice, these birds are loud and aggressive as you say, but also hide and flit away very quickly...So fantastic capture. These birds seem to have lost the fight with all my mockingbirds though =)
Mockingbirds are sort of aggressive also and not nearly as colorful. Thanks for the comment.

I have been in Texas for a long time and I never seen any. I will start looking for them. such a beautiful bird and capture
Maybe they are more here in the Rio Grange Valley. They aren't plentiful but there are quite a few.
