I'm back for a brief session, and I wanted to comment on your wonderful work as it's been a long time since I've done that. (I can only do a few, but I've seen and loved everything, as always.) I love that this child is in this medieval room , with all these mysterious things in front of him/her, and you don't explain what they are---they're just there in all their very specific mystery. Great objects.
The light is perfect for this darkness, as is the child's expression. Beautifully toned and softened too. A very evocative image.
