Description
Anzhela Kropuskov, a sleeper agent of the Kremlin, dispatches the "terrible twins" to compile a dossier on Lena as a first step in assassinating her. N.B. Anzhela was introduced to the story here: Anzhela Kropuskov ponders
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.0.339 using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. Some postwork was accomplished in Superfly and some in good ol' Photoshop. The separate images were then mounted as a graphic novel page using Comic Life 3.5.21 and are also uploaded here for those who are interested in an a view of them unobstructed by speech balloons and the like. Anzhela is based upon La Femme, the terrible twins upon P3DA's Lorenzo LoRez from DAZ, Patricia "Pixie" Dust upon Project Evolution One by Erogenesis and Vladlena upon Ali's Bela 1.2. The settings are by TruForm and RPublishing. I can help you find the vendor or source of any specific content that interests you; support content providers!
For my friends who are not English speaking the dialog follows after the break for easy use with translating software.

PANEL 1
Narration: ...a fateful meeting is taking place within the headquarters of Kropuskove Import and Export, LLc. Anzhela immigrated with her parents from Russia when she was a young girl. Her success in business is due in part is a continuing relationship with Russian organized crime and the FSB.
Anzhela: As you might imagine, I do not call you two here without good reason. As you know, I judge it best if I never associate with those who correspond to the sharp end of the spear.
Terrible Twin 1: We understand. What is of such importance that you risk leaving our usual channels, Madam?
Anzhela: There is an urgent need to discreetly silence a traitor to Mother Russia and our noble leader.
PANEL 2
Anzhela: This individual must be neutralized in a manner that cannot be traced to me and can be plausibly denied by our diplomats. She arrived in River Heights only yesterday.
PANEL 3
Anzhela: She is called Vladlena Bubnoff. I know little more than that she is here on a student Visa. The concern is she operates a network of websites that among other things accurately reports and also displays images of those killed or captured by Ukrainians as part of the Kremlin's special military operation.
PANEL 4
Anzhela: I need you two to establish her residence, associates, the pattern of her activities; you know the sort of thing I need to know. When you provide me a Dossier I can determine the method of her demise. You will find an image and what is known by Russian State security about her activities here transmitted to your encrypted phone. It's not much but it's a start.
Terrible Twin 1: Madam, Why not let us simply find her and conclude the matter?
Anzhela: Your willingness to dispose of her is noted. I would prefer to use another asset that is slightly less valuable to me than you two. Now off with you and report as soon as you have a complete dossier.
PANEL 5
Anzhela: (Thinking) While the twins are very reliable they lack subtlety. This girl is surely being closely observed and perhaps guarded by Western security agencies. Once I better understand her situation I can determine what sort of "accident" sends a message to other would be traitors but can be plausibly denied by Russian Diplomats. I do like a challenge. Already, I believe I know how this might be managed. Well, no sense in getting ahead of what I know. I'll first see what the twins learn.
PANEL 6
Narration: Back at the Bank we find that Vladlena's business has been brought to a successful conclusion and a shopping spree is about to begin!
Man in Black: (Thinking) Ah. There they are.
Pixie: That went really well. I know who I'll use for a reference if I need to do some banking, girlfriend!
Lena: Would suggest that may not be sound reasoning, Little Pix! Now, we must get for me phone, some more clothing and have lunch!
Pixie: "Little Pix"! I like that. Let's leave the car where it is. I know an arcade near here with a great phone kiosk and a couple of nice clothing stores. Then back to the car and a short drive to old towne for lunch!
Lena: Very good, my little Pixie! I am yours to guide!

There's lots about the way the galleries here work that drives me nuts but the ability to have a featured image (in this case, the graphic novel page) and then supporting images (in this case, the individual panels) works well. It's a bit of work and your comment validates for me that it's worth my while. =)

Hey theses are very nice renders and story. Nice work in the panels and I like the DOF.
Thanks! The decision of if and and how much DoF to use in each picture depends on how much I want to highlight the foreground. With close ups for dialog I use a very shallow DoF for a lot of blurring of the background as I am interested in focusing attention on the speaker; it's kind of like the way "rack shots" take people in and out of focus during conversations in cinema. =)

With the separate text I started reading before seeing the images and I must say that the story is really compelling even on its own, like in a good novel! But when I read it again in the pictures I enjoyed it twice as much!! Thank you for these beautiful adventures that you allow us to live!

Superb again - like to see the antagonist in some detail. keep up with this format; while labor intensive, it conveys more efficiently than a chain of individual frames and retains the reader's interest. Always fun to put these on the big screen...:)
