I hope that everything works fine for everybody here :-)
I am glad to share with you a picture captured last night in Obernai (Alsace, France)
Alsace is a charming and pictural region of France, at the borderline with Germany. This region attracts many tourists because of the typical architecture of the houses and its gastronomy.
On this picture you can see the marketplace of Obernai, the second most visited town of Alsace, with its beautiful half-timbered houses.
The main building is the Kappelturm or Beffroi and was used as a belfry.
Obernai counts 12000 inhabitants and is located at the foot of the Vosges mountains.
Every wednesday in summertime, the town also organises a festival with people dressed in traditionnal alsacian costumes and you can eat and drink some typical.

Va savoir pourquoi ta très belle photo me donne envie d'une bière...bien fraîche, bien sûr ! Je ne sais pas où sont les 11997 habitants (peut-être 11996 si JP était à tes côtés !) mais ou il faisait trop chaud pour être dehors ou trop frais, va savoir, ou il y avait un match...bref, tu as bien de la chance de n'avoir eu que deux personnes sur ta photo, je t'envie, moi qui rêve de meurtre quand des importuns se mettent en plein milieu !

Obernai, je connais bien, j'ai des parents à Saint Nabor. C'est très joli
C'est marrant car j'habite prés d'une ville qui s'appelle Saint-Avold : les habitants sont nommés Naboriens et il y a une basilique Saint Nabor. Merci pour le commentaire !
Superbe ambiance et éclairage nocturne pour une belle prise de vue, j’apprécie beaucoup l’architecture de cette région et en particulier les maisons à colombages !!

Une belle petite ville qui vaut vraiment le détour !!!!
Toujours comme Gaius, la seule mention du mot 'Obernai' me fait penser à la bière, viscéralement !!! Cette photo de nuit a beaucoup de charme et renvoie à cette image de l'Alsace que beaucoup de touristes ( et moi-même) adorent: une contrée où tout est pensé pour enjoliver l'architecture, la nature, et refléter une forme d'équilibre germanique où tout a sa place et sa raison d'être, esthétiquement parlant. Une très belle photo en somme, bravo l'artiste !
