There certainly is a feeling of "an emotional state of melancholic or profoundly nostalgic longing for a beloved yet absent something or someone. It is often associated with a repressed understanding that one might never encounter the object of longing ever again."
I like pictures that suggest a back story rather than simple pin ups. Thanks for sharing.

I'd never heard of the word until I heard the song by Cesaria Evora, and the thought of using it as a title for this image only hit me as I first uploaded it back in 2014 - RDNA and ShareCG probably, maybe here too.
I usually find that the picture and backstory develop side by side, each feeding ideas to the other. And sometimes I know that I don't know the full backstory... :o)
