Description
She has been poorly, had tummy troubles & had to stay in the vets over night.
In good Munster style, of course she wouldn't eat or go to the loo, while she was away from home :o)))
She had to have anti biotics, all sorts of stomach pastes, in the end she was so fed up that every time she saw me coming towards her, she would go the other way :o((((
She saw Phillip for a second blood test & it was fine so, what she went in for had cleared BUT she wouldn't eat. I have been at my wits end.
She did eat treats, like jerky etc but food was a real No No & I feel she associated food with the medications she was on.
At the weekend she started eating bits but nothing exciting.
Yesterday, we managed to get scrambled egg down her.
Today for the first time in 2 weeks (seems like months) she has had her breakfast of 3 duck wings. Afternoon she had half a packet of chicken & tripe raw food & she has just hounded me for some of my ice lolly, so fingers crossed she has turned a corner.
In herself she is fine, wants to go out, plays etc. She thankfully hasn't lost loads but she is thinner.
The foxes that come at night have had an amazing banquet of foods she didn't want. Fed her tinned as thought she would prefer but obviously not.
This pic was taken Sunday evening at the field. I was so worried at one time that I was going to lose her, through not eating,
Hopefully she will be ok.

What a scare are canine friends can give us! It's a relief that Stella is getting back to her beautiful self!
That was quite a scare, but it sounds like she's started getting better. Great capture!

I am always anxious about our little fella and what he may pick up down at the beach (raw sewage perhaps) and some time ago, our last little friend was showing similar signs of being unwell and we figured it was something he picked up on the beach.
He was off his food some months ago and thankfully it cleared on its own. Stella looks bright and healthy. I thought initially you were going to mention how much she'd been affected by the heat! Well presented. Take care Stella!
Sorry to hear that Stella was under the weather...I know how nerve wracking it can be when a fur child isn't feeling well...but they do get sick, just like us, and usually things clear up on themselves...she looks as beautiful as ever. Still got that chartreuse ball I see :)
Oh! I'm so sorry to hear that poor Stella has been under the weather and happy to hear she is doing better! Oddly, I am going through the same thing with my cat...been close to a month now...he is finally eating but still hasn't bounced back completely:( Praying that both our fur babies are 100% soon! Lovely photo as always!
Sorry to hear about your puss cat. Awful when they don't eat, quite scary. Thankfully Stella eating bit better. Hope all goes well for you too. x
Oh, I'm sorry Stella isn't feeling well. I hope she gets better soon. I'm taking Katie to the vet tomorrow, she started limping, and I have no idea why.
