Really great lighting as others have mentioned. The bright lights behind the pair and the less bright lights on the features we can see is really interesting (and the opposite of what most people would do lighting a "relationship" scene like this). Kudos for doing something more interesting! As for the theme of the picture? I have the sense that the word love is not being used in it's deepest sense here. XD She seems intent and he seems a bit hesitant... posing and expressions are excellent!
