Description
It is the morning of Vladlena Bubnoff's second day in the United States. She joined her new roommates for breakfast. Brooke shoveled her multi-grain cereal into her mouth and observed the other two in silent amusement. She noted that Pixie has chosen a somewhat provocative outfit that she usually reserved for nights out in the River Heights entertainment district. Vladlena was swaring less sexually provocative (but perhaps more politically provocative) clothing featuring a "Putin's Ashes by Pussy Riot" top.
"Bleagh!" Pixie made a face as she examined a piece of toast she just removed from the toaster. "I think that's mold!"
Lena laughed at her new found, diminutive friend. "Should look closely before wasting time toasting. Likely safe to eat if just scraped a bit!" Pixie continued to examine the piece of toast doubtfully and Lena continued, "If you have time, would love company to help figure some things out. Have to open bank account and transfer some funds. Need to get mobile phone. Need maybe to buy some more proper American style clothes..."
Brooke interrupted. "The Professor called me since you don't have a cell phone to ask that I tell you to visit her at the mansion this afternoon around 3:00 pm. She said not to fret, it's good news!"
"I can call my brother if I might use your phone! He'll not mind driving me about."
"You can give him the news but we don't need to bother him for a ride. Me and the "Brookster" are not scheduled to work today and I know she's planning on studying here all day!" She gave Brooke a significant glance. "Brooke will let us take her little car!"
Brooke rolled her eyes. "Sure. Why not?"
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.0.339 with the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. Some of the postwork was done in Superfly and some in Photoshop. Brooke is based on the Dawn mesh (now included in Poser), Pixie on erogenesisCGI's Project Evolution mesh and Lena is based on Ali's Bela mesh (Can you believe it? A poser picture without a DAZ character in it!). The kitchen of the Farm House kitchen is from Green Pots. There's a lot of bits and bobs in the picture including the clothing that you might be interested in and I can help you find the appropriate vendor if you are interested. I hate it when that happens. Moldy bread is a real downer but your scene is just fine. I have the Evolution one character but have yet to use it.

Very nice - characters coming together further. Lena might want to tune down the political statement attire at some point. never know who is watching, though I think she's already caught the eye of those who mean her ill....

For a long time, DAZ existed to supply material for Poser and then with the rise of DAZ Studio not so much. Although they still have plenty of legacy material there and a rare new Poser bit of content they seem determined to ignore Poser now. =(
The bottom line is if content creators aren't supported they quit making content. I'm good at kitbashing and hacking content but I have little skill at creating stuff from scratch. So... support content creators... SUPPORT THEM, I say! XD

"Putin's Ashes by Pussy Riot" - It's clear that Lena preferred to flee. Hopefully Putin's American undercover agents are not already on her heels!
Without giving too much away, I would congratulate you on discerning one of the next story plot/peril points: what Russian operatives might try to do to someone like Lena who continues to operate her websites from the USA. We know that American Security operatives are watching her but it's unclear how much protection they can really provide. Of course, Lena also has a ghost interested in her welfare beside Pixie and all the other members of Professor Van Humbeek's research team; they would also be protective of her. =\ I hope that you will continue to enjoy the story, I do so enjoy hearing from you! =)
