My activity here will be very spotty.
My dearest mother will not be coming home from rehab. They say that she needs 24 hour care at a assisted living place. Unfortunately her insurance does not cover it.
So her house has to be sold ASAP to pay for her stay there. Which puts on in a bad situation on possibly becoming homeless maybe.
My ss benefits i dont think will qualify me for a safe apparent complex. And mom was a horder of everything. Months of stuff in this house to dump, donate and sell. Ive been going at 100 miles an hour for several days with huge restless nights worrying for her and myself. E gads! Im so confused ATP.
But i hope things work out for the best.
So please say a prayer for my mother and me. Thank you. God bless you 🙏 all.

Oh, man.... You and your mom are definitely in my prayers, Steve! It's just not right... You spend a lifetime working your ass off, then when age catches up with you, it's "You're on your own.." If you haven't - or likely couldn't afford to - stash every last dime away.. A sad statement for one of the richest countries on the planet.

You have to consult Mom, the rest of the family before taking decisions like selling the parents house. Please do everything you can to get her out of that hospital bring her home ASAP if possible. I think she would be much safer under your care or someone you hire to care for your Mom. Told you this before there are jobs that require a minimum amount of work and you get paid very well.
