I am an amateur artist. I enjoy rendering 3D compositions and exploring random trains of thought when creating new images. I get a lot of inspiration from the many wonderful artist here at Renderosity. If you find a render I have created that you like, please give me a comment. I love hearing from you. Thank all of you that have commented on my renders to date. I really appreciate you taking the time to do so!

They're going to listen to Lawrence Welk???
Well isn't that a prime requirement when doing the 'elephant walk,' my friend? LOL! Thanks again for your comment and keen observation! I can't remember how many times I had to sit and watch L W with my folks when I was growing up! LOL!
ROFL - When I look at the poses and at their expressions, I think that he wanted to ask him someting else!?! 😄👍

Rad ~ one of L.W.'s hit songs was "Baby Elephant Walk."
And I'm wondering to myself, did you really think I didn't know that, being a boy born and raised in North Dakota? LOL! But thanks for pointing it out to me! I'm glad you are on top of things! You rock big time, 'cardo! Keep up the good work!
The expressions are great and so is the subtle human contact. I love the pink socks.
Thank you so very much for the comment! I am always happy to hear from you!
Yeeeeee-haw! There's always a first rodeo... LOL Fun scene here, Bill!
Many thanks for the comment, Rod! Great hearing from you!
I want to love this and I DO love the idea of it. I'll start by saying I take a long time with intimate poses on furniture as you are attempting to do here and it drives me nuts... and here's the thing: the young man on the right is evidently so nervous he is floating above the floor a bit; and the young man on the left meaning to be more comfortable has failed to settle back on the couch so that his left arm is in front of and above the back of the couch. I'm sure the idea is to present the young man on the left as more experienced and the young man on the right as more nervous and your general pose and expressions really convey that. Just a bit more tweaking of their positions.... =\
Also... lighting and camera view and general scene set up is fine.
Sorry to be a picker of nits.>.<
Bottom line: this is a fine scene and a lot of fun. There are some technique improvements you could work on but don't ever change your ideas about what constitutes a delightful story image.
