Description
She stepped across the threshold ready for the inevitable combat ahead.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered with Poser 13.0.296 using the Superfly Cycles X rendering engine. Some small amount of spectral bloom and noise reduction was accomplished within Superfly. A bit more tweaking to add a subtle vignette in Photoshop. The character is Taki from the game Soul Calibur and is based on V4 using modifications and other content from -=Wartech=- .
The picture is fan art, the character is owned by Bandai Namco Studios. I confess I have never played the game but I love the look of the character.

I'm thinking that would be high praise! XD I've never played the game but I liked the look of the character and watched a few video captures that convinced me I'd not enjoy the game (slow, fat fingers; a real problem with those fighting games... >.< ) but it convinced me I'd like to try to depict her. Thanks for taking a moment to offer some encouragement; I really appreciate it! <3

I did some retexturing and messed a lot with the lighting but mostly it's just really good content. =) As you are using DAZ Studio these days I would mention that the content creator, -=Wartech=- has started mostly making stuff for DS. You might want to check out her site.

I've played just about every game in the series, since the original arcade game. You really did her justice with not just the outfit but the pose and expression. Even the environment would fit right in.

Gosh, thanks, Randy! As noted above, I've never played the game but I watched some video on You Tube of someone else playing it to get an idea of how the character should look and what kind of surroundings would be appropriate. I'm delighted that you can validate for me the choices I made! =)
