New storyline scene ! Can you guess who are these soldiers approaching ? This scene has been challenging, but also easier to make than what I would have thought. Because of the challenge it represented, I went slowly and took time to think things through before doing them. So, I think that’s why it went pretty easy. The landscape was made using "Ultra Scenary XT" I have placed the trees myself. That said I haven’t placed every single tree one by one. I’ve used a group of trees, that I have instanced, maybe fifty time, I am not sure. I have created the carts and the banner and the protection that some mounted animal are wearing, myself. They dont look that great, but they are far away, so it works. :D The armour used on the soldiers is a freebie that I have converted for G8, but I’ll give full credit to the person who made it in the next scene, where we will have a better look of it. The troop, counting the animals too, contains 41 characters. But most of them are instanced. That said, if I count my main characters, the troop, all the animals and all those instances, I reach around 60 characters ! Which makes this picture the most crowded scene I have ever made.
