With those few words the means of getting from one place to another changed for ever. The name Ford lives for ever within the pages of the history books. I have never seen one of these bone shakers but they went on to become movie stars their name Model T Ford show to me the person that never heard of them or the name. I have often wonder why Black, was it the cheapest or the best for wear any one know

Oh yes I do remember this quote from History class! Now, if I remember correctly, they wanted to pick only one colour as that would save cost and efficiency (and efficiency lends back to cost) on the production line. I can't remember if there were other reasons but I do remember one of the reasons they picked black was because it dried the fastest out of all the colours - thus leading back to the efficiency and thus cost savings.
It's very funny, now days people think it was just a joke but I did have a few Fords, not an model T but they used to have a shape of their own. people knew it was a ford, now days all cars seem to look the same The lights look the same they drive the same unless you have more money than u need and go well up market.
