1973 Eldorado! I had a '73 hardtop, it was a copper/bronze color, almost a burnt orange, with a cream landau vinyl roof, and a black-and-white houndstooth interior! I absolutely loved that car! I took it with me from Illinois to Colorado. It got me through a year of Beauty School in Illinois, first. It had rust holes but it was built like a TANK! I sure miss Ginger!

I had a similarly colored 76 Eldorado convertible for about a year. It was a gorgeous car with a light tan top. Tan leather interior and more options than I was ever able to figure out. That super sized 500 plus cubic inch engine really had the torque and surprised me out on the road getting better than 18 mpg. What a smooth ride and like you say, built better than a tank! LOL! Oh, the memories. Yes, I loved that car too!

Thanks for the comment, Sunbeam! I greatly appreciate your kindness. Yes, it was a heavy car, over 5,000 pounds. And gas was around 30 cents per gallon. Around town driving you were lucky to get 8 or 10 miles per gallon. Those were the days, my friend! I'm glad they finally did end! LOL!

I remember the 50's cars in all their glory whilst living in Singapore. These cars are equally attractive even though they're from another era. Great work Bill! The girls look really fit too! lol Make sure they take their shoes off before spoiling the carpet with those heels!

Very nice contrast of the two complimentary colors, green and red. And of two different poses and expressions as well.

Maybe we can make the contrast even more interesting if we have a sleek, dangerous-looking green Lamborghini on one side, and on the other a nice, old-fashioned little red Volkswagen Beetle from the 1960s? :)
