Made using the latest photorealistic render engine with the Wombo Dream application with Stable Diffusion. I start out with an idea for the characters, I look online for descriptive terms, in this case the history of wicker man and fire in pagan ritual, and I added in some spice inspired by the Star Wars smaller cute characters, I then looked at the atmosphere I wanted and used a Hubble Space Telescope image as a backdrop source image with low coherence, and I added in a bunch of descriptors to set the scene and time of day and the desert location, and the depth of field and the level of photo realism. A lot goes into these images to make them as good as I can. This would be very hard to pick from a classic 3D modelled render, IMO.
