Description
Many thanks to MollyFootman and Darkglass for getting me started in exploring more of the possiblilites within the Poser program. I've had Poser since 2003 but haven't even touched it's capabilities yet! Mea culpa! In this four for one submission, I show the difference fStop settings have on depth of field, (DOF). Again, thanks to Darkglass for suggesting these settings. Follows is his explanation:
"Dof... Really is only noticeable, at the lower F stops.. F4 F2.8 F2 F 1.2...anything above F 5.6...will be minimal.. Depending on the image and the focus point, your also going to notice a increase in render time,

Of course, my example is just a quick and somewhat simple depiction of what can happen. Images at a larger size I'm sure will show much more noticeable results! I was just super curious to see what the difference were.

Very cool experiment and results. It depends on I guess what you want focused on more if just the man, the car, or both, etc. Hard to decide which is the best

Cool experiments, surprising just how much difference it makes, especially when doing landscape or you want something in the fourgroud blurred and the background in sharp focus
the lower left corner seems more appealing to me. never the less a superb experiment

Of these 4 images, I think the one at F-stop 2.8 is the best. The lower setting causes a bit of sharpness loss in the car as it is at the edge of the field. So much fun! =)
