Wasn't he playing saxophone? Thought snake charming only works with flutes (though really in my pic it's an oboe). Though the charming doesn't rely on the sound but the movement, if I recall that correctly.

yes, snakes have internal ears and feel vibration. It is the movement of the 'flute' that keeps their interest, some say shape too as cobras eat other snakes. Kenny G is the only person I know of that plays wind instruments, so the reference. S
