you've treated the candles with a delicate texture that gives them gentle veins, and makes them seem luminous all by themselves (ie, even if they didn't have flames on them). The flames are perfect. And the darkness reminds us of the deep dark of the season (a beautiful dark). Touching image. I hope your Weihnachten was wonderful, and I wish you an equally wonderful Neujahr.
