I like how you lace your christmas series with images of other themes...this is like a painting, it's really very painterly and beautiful, I love the tilt of the sky---it's in harmony with the boat---and that hazy light...and the beautiful webwork of the sails, etc. I never expected this in the middle of your christmas pieces! It's haunting and beautiful, lyla. (Do you know the paintings of Turner? If you don't, check him out sometime...he does seascapes that have this quality, and his suns can be very much like yours...bright, hazy and like spirits...)
