Not sure what Im looking at here...but Ill be patient and find out when you post :) Ive not played with Multifractals in clouds...could be benficial if you can define the change at UV Pos or Altitude (???)
Hey, WoZ - thanks for the comments! This render is just looking straight down on the planet surface, using the Glow channel. I'm trying to get a feel for the MultiFractal controls by setting it up as a Noise and tweaking from there. I've got a good idea as to how Roughness and Fine Detail interact but I'm still kind of stumped by Gain - it doesn't seem to do much or else I'm just missing it…
It looks like an aurora borealis in there. Feels like ants crawling all over me body Captain! ;-)
